Invitation & Content Data

• The text, names, event details, dates, venue, and addresses you add to your invitation.
• Images, photos, and other media you upload to personalise your design.
• Voice greeting recordings or audio you record/upload through the editor for playback inside your invitation.

Guest Data

When you add guests or share your invitation, ShubhLink acts as a processor of the guest information you provide. You (the invitation creator) are solely responsible for having the right to contact those guests and for obtaining any necessary consents. We also collect guest engagement data such as link views, RSVP responses, and audio plays so we can show you analytics for your invitation.

Automatically Collected Information

• Usage data such as the pages and templates you view and the features you use.
• Device and browser information, approximate location, and IP address.
• Guest interaction events (views, RSVPs, audio plays) recorded for your analytics.

Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in using a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We never receive or store your password for third-party accounts.

• Service delivery — creating your account, building and hosting your invitations, processing payments, and tracking RSVPs.
• Communication — sending transactional emails (receipts, account and service notices) and responding to support requests.
• Platform improvement — analysing usage to improve templates, features, and performance.
• Legal & security — enforcing our Terms, detecting and preventing fraud or abuse, and complying with applicable law.

By adding guests and sharing invitations, you acknowledge that you are responsible for:

• Obtaining any consents required to contact your guests.
• Having a genuine, legitimate reason to invite the people you add.
• Not sending unsolicited or bulk commercial messages.

ShubhLink is a tool that helps you share invitations. We are not liable for how you choose to use it, including any misuse of guest contact information.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure, and uploaded media is kept in protected object storage. We use safeguards including:

• Passwords hashed using industry-standard algorithms.
• SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit.
• Authenticated, rate-limited APIs to protect against abuse.

Data Retention

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following ways:

• Service partners — cloud hosting, storage, payment processing (Razorpay), and email delivery providers who help us run the platform.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, a valid court order, or to prevent fraud and protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers — if ShubhLink is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of that transaction.
• Public invitation links — anyone with the link to your invitation can view it, so share it only with intended recipients.

Access & Control

• View your account data and invitations.
• Update your profile information at any time.
• Delete your account — your personal data is removed within 30 days.
• Request an export of your data.

Communication Preferences

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Transactional emails (such as receipts and important account notices) will continue regardless.

Cookies

We use essential cookies that are required for sign-in and security. Where applicable, analytics cookies are used to understand how the platform is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Some invitations include a voice greeting that you record or upload through the editor. This audio is stored securely and played back inside your invitation. Play counts may be shown to you as part of your analytics. We do not use your audio to build voice profiles or for any unrelated purpose.

ShubhLink is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

Our infrastructure and partners may process data in different countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we take appropriate steps to keep it protected in line with applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of ShubhLink after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
